Organically produced, extra virgin cold-pressed oil made from argania spinosa kernels. The argan tree growing primarily on the moroccan coast around Essaouira and Agadir, is a boon for the berber populations.Also called "ironwood" this thorny and robust tree has been used for centuries.It produces an oval , green fruit with a kernel that yields a golden-yellow oilin essential fatty acids, nonsaponifiable substances, vitamine E, and sterols with powerfully regenerative properties.
The oil which is made from unroasted argan kernels has softening and protective properties, moisturizing and revitalizing the dry, fragile layers of the skin. It is also recommended for blemishes left by acne, chicken pox and burns thanks to its healing properties. Traditional uses include massaging painfull joints and caring for brittle nails and hair.
