What we generally call Carrot oil is the oil obtained from maceration of carrot (root of daucus carota) in another oil.
This process carried out with a vegetable oil extracted by first cold press, rich in vitamin E (sunflower) enables to capture the liposoluble elements the carrot is composed of, and in particular the irreplaceable provitamin A which gives this oil its characteristic colour.
Carrot oil is recommended as after-sun treatment specially to soften the skin and favour its renewal.
It is presented in a glass flask with a pump dispenser giving out 0.5ml with each press
